This is the free/basic version, which allows you to test the application compatibility with your vehicle and OBD2 adapter. However, please note that it may contain minor bugs and may not work with certain Nissan, Chrysler, and Subaru ECUs. The paid version offers support for more vehicles and ECU types, as well as a more aesthetically pleasing interface that works with a wider range of cars and trucks.

The paid version includes additional features such as HorsePower, Torque, 0-60 and quarter-mile tests, graph data, map/track views, ad-free usage, and extra dial/display types. It also boasts improved ABS and Knock sensor support, as well as transmission temperature support for certain makes of car/trucks (GM/Ford, etc.), and Turbo Boost compatibility with many more vehicles (including VW).

**PLEASE NOTE!** Any reports of hanging or freezing after quitting the app are due to a bug in the HTC Evo 4G and Galaxy Tab. This bug can be triggered by using the Pandora/Vlingo/Aldiko bluetooth-enabled apps. Disabling Pandora's new Bluetooth settings resolves the issue. Please contact their support teams and encourage them to release a fix. Thank you!

The pro version of this tool supports USB ELM adapters that use 'Prolific' or 'FTDI' chips.
